Organist/Pianist
First United Methodist Church - Morganton, a downtown, forward-looking congregation of 325 active members with 230 worshippers between our online and in person platforms, seeks an outstanding organist/Pianist for our music and worship ministry.  Our church welcomes all persons, and our mission is to Make Disciples Of Jesus Christ And Give Ourselves In His Service. We are a Lighthouse Congregation of the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Sunday 10:30am service is blended with traditional and modern worship elements, and other special services throughout the year.
Accompany the congregational music, provide voluntaries, and accompany Chancel Choir with a blend of traditional and modern music styles with direction from the Minister of Music and Worship and Senior Pastor for Sunday worship service. Provide music for weddings, funerals, etc. 
Instruments of the church include: Möller pipe organ [3 manuals / 27 stops / 33 ranks]; Kawai RX-2 grand piano. 
Qualification: Level of experience and ability to play the organ/piano at a highly skilled level. 
Per Week pay of $150.00.
