Occupational Summary
Provide responsible administrative and programmatic support for the Office of Wesleyan Engagement, including Wesleyan Formation Initiatives and the Methodist House of Studies. Facilitate the work in collaboration with colleagues in other relevant areas of the Divinity School and Duke University, using judgment to prioritize workload.
Work Performed
Assist and support related initiatives, working primarily Wesleyan Formation Initiatives with a secondary focus on supporting the Methodist House of Studies and the Asian House of Studies.
Provide organizational support and tracking of key documents.
Provide administrative support for communications and meetings with external partners.
Process and reconcile financial transactions including corporate cards, AP checks, and honoraria payments.
Support and coordinate relevant activities and events related to the Office of Wesleyan Engagement, including Wesleyan Formation Initiatives and the Methodist House of Studies under the guidance of the Senior Director for Wesleyan Formation Initiatives.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Reporting Responsibilities
This position reports to the Senior Director of Wesleyan Formation Initiatives.
Work generally requires three years of related secretarial/clerical experience to acquire skills necessary to administer complex office functions related to office management, communications, and budgetary/accounting activities. OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Work requires a broad knowledge of clerical and accounting principles and practices normally acquired through two years of post-secondary education in secretarial science or a related business field.Experience
