Make God’s Love Real with youth in grades 6-12 across the Tampa area.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a clear passion to draw people into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Has a commitment to the mission and vision of Hyde Park United Methodist.
• Is a visionary person with the initiative to explore the most effective means by which the church’s mission can be fulfilled.
• Is a team player who works well with other church staff members and who has proven effectiveness in working with volunteers.
• Has a personal commitment to the spiritual heritage, doctrine, and Social Principles of the United Methodist Church.
• Is aware of theological distinctions within the United Methodist Church.
• Has evidence of Christian character lived-out through spiritual disciplines and participation in the life of the church.
• Has a sense of humor and ability not to take him/herself too seriously.
• Has a high-energy level for the demands of a growing ministry.
• Never stops learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong passion and experience in shepherding youth in their discipleship.
• Training or experience in the equipping organizational model.
• Proficient in understanding and use of social media platforms.
• Relevant experience in a large United Methodist church.
