Office Administrator & Connections Coordinator
Grace UMC is a vibrant downtown congregation seeking a passionate, articulate follower of Jesus to help organize and grow our mission. The Office Administrator & Connections Coordinator is responsible for the efficient operation of the church office, including the support needed of clergy and program staff, as well as connecting newcomers to church ministries and recruiting volunteers. The Office Administrator & Connections Coordinator must maintain a professional relationship with the church staff and congregation and must be able to work autonomously, in addition to working well with others. The Office Administrator & Connections Coordinator must keep in strict confidence information acquired through the duties of this position, which may be personal in nature to church members and/or staff. Additionally, this staff member is responsible for the support of church-wide volunteer recruitment, scheduling and recognition. This is a flexible role in which a significant amount of the hours per week will be completed outside of the office. Therefore, the ideal candidate will possess strong time management and organizational skills. This is a flexible, 30 hour a week role that includes some mornings during the week and Sunday morning.
