Contemporary Music Leader

Central United Methodist Church in Mooresville is seeking a Contemporary Music Leader for our 9:15 AM Open Door worship service. 

Our Music Leader:
Heads up the contemporary worship praise team. Leads and arranges volunteer singers and other musicians. Sings and plays guitar and/or keyboard. Can speak before the congregation, praying, sharing, encouraging. Plans and coordinates selection of music and media with praise team, pastor and media volunteers.

What are we looking for?

Ideal candidate would have: Vocal Proficiency: Guitar and / or keyboard proficiency; good organizational skills; strong leadership ability in leading a praise team; ability to plan and work with a variety of volunteers of varying skill and ability sets; ability to adapt to changing circumstances with flexibility; and an ability to set the tone for a worshipful experience for the congregation.
