Part-Time Director of Children's Ministry

Light of Christ UMC, Charlotte, NC, is seeking a part-time (maximum 15 hours per week) Director of Children's Ministry.  Children's Ministry is an essential part of Light of Christ, working with the Lead Pastor and Children's Ministry Volunteers, to lead the congregation in genuine and faithful discipleship of children, birth through fifth grade.  The ultimate goal is to teach and create worship and service opportunities which encourage children to know and serve God, by following Jesus.  To lead this essential ministry, skill with leading, recruiting, and empowering teams of volunteers is key.  Collaboration with Children's Ministry volunteers is necessary to ensure congregational ownership and vital, growing ministry with children.  Interested applicants should provide a cover letter and resume to locumc@locumc.org by January 10, 2022.
