Youth Director

Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Waxhaw, NC is searching for a passionate leader for the youth of our community. The right person will have a strong faith relationship with Jesus Christ and strong leadership skills. 

 

This leader will coordinate and lead weekly programs, events, missions, as well as mentor others into leadership roles.  This position is designed for someone who is passionate and called to ministry with youth, young adults and their families. We believe that it is vital to share life, hope, and faith with those in the world around us. The position is part time (20 hours per week).

 

The Youth Director is responsible for planning and coordinating all activities related to Youth in Middle School and High School at Bethlehem UMC. Our Goal is to help youth to encounter Christ, to be given the opportunity to receive Christ and grow in faith. We also seek to equip the family unit because the greatest influence in a youth’s faith begins at home.
