NeighborHealth Center Chief Executive Officer
KEES has been exclusively retained by the Board of NeighborHealth Centers in its search for a new Chief Executive Officer.
The Board of Directors of Raleigh’s only Christian health center (a Federally Qualified Health Center Look Alike) is seeking a servant-leader for the role of CEO, who desires to serve the community through faith by confidently leading NeighborHealth in its delivery of person-centered health care. Having successfully adapted and increased its capacity to deliver quality care over the past year during the pandemic, NeighborHealth is looking ahead and planning for additional growth in patient numbers and expansion into geographic areas served.
NeighborHealth’s post-pandemic chapter will be one of thoughtful evolution and measured development, requiring a skillful leader who can successfully navigate and guide the organization through the process while not losing site of the core values and
mission upon which it was founded. Relationship building skills, compassion, and the ability to maintain a long-term focus on the direction of the organization is essential. Reporting to a Board of Directors, the CEO will oversee 12 providers and 50+ staff members and contractors (with 5 direct reports).
Some Specific Requirements Are:
- A minimum of 7 years of management experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the medical, financial, and administrative duties involved in directing the operations of an FQHC or FQHC Look-Alike is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience preparing an organization for growth and expansion and successfully providing steadfast leadership during transition.
- Embraces and personifies the mission and core values of NeighborHealth as well as fully live the statement of faith.
- Track record in financial management, stewardship, and developing strategies to successfully increase revenue.
- Prior experience working in a multi-cultural setting. Applicants with fluency in a language other than English, are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in business or health care management preferred.
