Director of Youth Ministry

Brevard First United Methodist Church is searching for a full time Director of Youth Ministries to lead, plan and oversee all ministries for youth, sixth grade through high school.  This includes small groups for growing disciples, worship, partnerships with local and community ministries, mission experiences, retreats, engagement within the congregation, and more.  In addition, the director of youth ministries will play a key role in empowering the congregation to be in ministry with youth.  This person as a follower of Jesus Christ must have a calling and passion for ministry with youth that includes a heart for spiritual formation and growing relationships.

Brevard FUMC is a mission- driven congregation located in the southern mountains of Western North Carolina in Transylvania County. This area is known for hiking, biking, and water falls.  Brevard College, affiliated with the United Methodist Church, is across the street from the church.
