Director of Children's Discipleship

Long’s Chapel, a vital and healthy United Methodist church in Waynesville, NC (near Asheville), seeks a person who loves Jesus and loves children to join our staff as Director of Children’s Discipleship. This is a full-time job but hours are flexible and could be adapted for the right candidate who is already employed elsewhere. Experience is preferred but not required. Salary range is 35k-45k with additional benefits of employment. Candidates must exhibit creativity, a sense of teamwork, a willingness to lead a team of existing volunteer servants and a small staff and have a desire to lead this healthy ministry into its next phase of sharing the love of Jesus with the kids of Haywood County.
