Video Production Director

Harrison UMC is an active, healthy and inviting congregation located in the rapidly growing area of Pineville/Ballantyne, NC (South Charlotte). We are seeking someone with a passion for the creative process as it relates to the Christian faith, as well as the technical skills and vision to play an integral role on our creative team and work with our worship leaders to deliver compelling and engaging videos to enhance the worship of God virtually, as well as during on-campus contemporary & traditional services, events and special occasions when they continue.
This part-time position includes video recording, production and editing as it applies to sermons, music and content created in studio or by staff. Oversees all livestreaming and video production in coordination with clergy, staff and volunteers for audio-visual needs for worship, classes, and other events, and providing support as needed.
Position requires a working knowledge of entire production process, directing and producing creative videos, including concept, scripting, filming, editing, and post-production; ability to take a video from idea to pre-production to finished product; ability to troubleshoot technology issues with a sense of urgency. Must be flexible to adapt when plans change, and work well with a wide range of personalities, both as a team member and leader. Must have a "get it done” mindset and a positive attitude!

• Must have experience working within a church or Christian environment
• Must be willing to submit information for a criminal background check and be in compliance with our safety procedures for youth and children
• Part-time, flexible hours, but must have availability to be on-campus during church hours and worship services as indicated
• Availability to attend on-campus meetings and recordings at different times, to communicate effectively and be a team player are essential
