FULL-TIME CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRY DIRECTOR - WANTED

Mount Pleasant UMC located in Sherills Ford, NC (southeastern Catawba County, Lake Norman area) is seeking a full-time Children & Youth Ministry Director to minister to and with children, youth, and their families here in our congregation and within our growing community. The ideal candidate will have a love for Jesus Christ, and a genuine call and passion for relational ministry with children, youth, and their families. Excellent communication skills (including social media, and online technology), and the ability to recruit, train, and equip servant leaders as a team is a must. The candidate should also be result/goal oriented, able to work well with a myriad of programs, church staff, parents, and community leaders. A college degree in Christian education or related field, and experience serving Christ in a children, youth, and/or family ministry setting is preferred. Salary commensurate upon experience.
