Director of Connectional Ministry

St Paul United Methodist Church in Christiansburg, VA is seeking a full time Director of Connectional Ministry.  Essential functions include to develop various ministries within the church with emphasis on outreach to the community; to improve congregational communication systems and connections; and, to build communication networks reaching the community.
Candidates for this position must be Christian who embrace United Methodist doctrine, theology and policy. They must have good interpersonal skills with Christian discipleship and  teaching. They should have a team work mindset; self-motivation; excellent communication and computer skills. Candidates must have vision, creativity, and the ability to develop and implement a ministry plan.  

A Bachelor’s degree or certificate in an appropriate field or equivalent ministry experience is required. The job description is available upon request.
