Director of Program Ministries

Purpose of Position:
The Director of Program Ministries is responsible for the identifying, engaging, equipping and encouraging the lay leaders for ministry. Specific duties will include pastoral care, missions coordination, connecting church committees with church missions, guidance in educational leadership and the coordination of CUMC Stephen Ministry Program.

Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: An ordained Deacon or a suitable applicant with a baccalaureate degree and graduate-level coursework. Completion of graduate degree preferred. Certification as a Stephen Minister preferred and/or willingness to become a Stephen Minister.

Experience: Three plus years previous experience as a clergy engaging and equipping lay leaders and delivering pastoral care or other relevant experience. Proven leader who can work creatively, think strategically, and move our ministry forward.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
