Choir Director

Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church in Lincolnton, North Carolina is seeking a part-time Director of Music who is passionate about their Christian faith and about engaging others through music and worship. This person will work closely with the pastor and organist to plan and provide meaningful worship. It is expected that he/she will:
- Coordinate and lead regular choir rehearsals
- Select and plan choir anthems, and any other special music, in relation to worship themes and seasons of the Christian year
- Direct the choir during 11:00 worship service on Sunday mornings, and other special services at which the choir sings (including occasional funerals)
