Executive Director or Executive Pastor of Ministries

Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church (www.longschapel.com) in Waynesville, NC (just outside of Asheville and near Lake Junaluska in the Great Smoky Mountains) is looking for an Executive Director (or Executive Pastor) of Ministries.  We are looking for someone who loves Jesus and wants to help serve this community focused church to live boldly into its future.  Applicants need to be an accomplished manager with proven success in developing strong teams (if that were with program staff and lay leadership of a church that would be a bonus).  With a major campus expansion underway, the church is ripe for growth and excellent ministry potential.  Clergy or Laity applicants are welcome.  Position would begin June/July 2019.  If interested, please send a letter of interest and resume to Lori.Prickett@longschapel.com by March 1, 2019.
