Youth and Families Pastor
Youth and Families Pastor-Full-Time-Jamestown United Methodist Church (Located in Jamestown, North Carolina) is searching for an experienced and passionate youth leader who will partner with parents and adult volunteers to lead middle and high school students to grow into deeply committed disciples of Jesus Christ. This full-time position includes visioning, planning, implementing, and supporting youth ministry under the broader vision, mission, and guidelines of the church. The primary focus of the Youth and Families Pastor is to lead youth and their families to develop a strong Christian faith in the United Methodist tradition by building and supporting teams to vision, teach, mentor and sustain ministry activities. These activities include weekly Sunday School, Sunday evening fellowship and small and large group faith development time as well as local community service and missions, Bible studies, fun events and maintaining a presence in the lives of students and families outside of the church.
