Youth Director

Bethany UMC of West Jefferson is looking to hire a youth pastor/coordinator. The position will be part time (15-20 hours/week) and involves working with youth and older children and their families. It is expected that most of the hours worked will be on Sundays and Wednesdays with the remaining hours spent where and when needed. This position is responsible for organizing and planning youth events and providing spiritual development and discipleship formation for our youth. This will involve teaching fellowship, worship, service projects and small groups.  Starting salary will be based upon education and experience. We are located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.
