Financial-Facilities Administrator
1200 member suburban South Charlotte United Methodist church seeks full-time financial-facilities administrator.  Financial responsibilities include overseeing our accounting and financial system (cash flow management, payables, receivables, payroll, general ledger, tax matters, posting and reporting contributions, regular budget tracking and reporting to Finance committee and congregation), daily interaction with Church staff and members, and relating to Finance Committee and Church Council.  Facility responsibilities include maintaining church reservation calendar and facilitating safety and security of church buildings. Position reports to Senior Pastor and Staff-Parish committee.
Candidates should have understanding of and commitment to Christian faith and practice.  Knowledge/experience with United Methodist policy referred.  Prior experience with church administration also preferred. Candidates should possess ability to work well with people and sound judgment.  BA in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
Salary, medical insurance and pension benefits totaling up to $55,000 depending on experience and skills.
