Director of Youth Ministry

Boone United Methodist is looking for a Director of Youth Ministry who will equip and guide a ministry team in providing high quality discipleship, spiritual formation, worship and mission opportunities for our youth.  This includes leading the youth ministry team as well as church staff in planning, implementing, and evaluating how our youth ministry is reaching and changing the lives of our youth.  He or she will have a passion for the gospel, a commitment to team-building leadership development, and an ability to articulate a clear vision for youth ministry in keeping with the mission of Boone United Methodist Church.  Because this youth ministry averages around 100 youth participants this person needs to have demonstrated organizational and communication skills in order to design and implement excellent programming.  Most importantly they need to love Jesus, our youth, and their families.  Do not need to be an ordained minister.  Application deadline is August 31st. Please submit a cover letter, resume and 3 references to ATTN: Joe Hill- Director of Youth Ministry at josephbryonhill@gmail.com
