Pianist and Choir Director

Purcell United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time pianist and choir director.  Purcell UMC is a small, loving and open-minded congregation located in the historic Camp Greene neighborhood in west Charlotte.

Responsibilities
pianist for traditional worship service Sunday mornings at 11:00
conduct weekly choir practice Sundays after worship
play for special services 2-3 times a year (Ash Wednesday, Christmas, Holy Week)
will work with pastor on selection of hymns
should be familiar with the United Methodist Hymnal

We are open to music students filling this position.
