Let us give thanks for all of God’s mercies.
O God, our Covenant Friend, you have been gracious to us through all the years of our lives.
We thank you for your loving care,
which has filled our days and brought us to this time and place.
Joy to the world! The Lord is come!
You have given us life and reason,
and set us in a world filled with your glory.
You have comforted us with family and friends,
and ministered to us through the hands of our sisters and brothers.
Joy to the world! The Savior reigns!
You have filled our hearts with a hunger after you,
and have given us your peace.
You have redeemed us, and called us to a high calling in Christ Jesus.
You have given us a place in the fellowship of your Spirit
and the witness of your Church.
No more let sins and sorrows grow.
You have been our light in darkness
and a rock of strength in adversity and temptation.
You have been the very Spirit of joy in our joys
and the all-sufficient reward in our labors.
Christ rules the world with truth and grace.
You remembered us when we forgot you.
You followed us even when we tried to flee from you.
You met us with forgiveness when we returned to you.
For all your patience and overflowing grace.
Joy to the world! The Lord is come!

Joy to the World
United Methodist Hymnal, No. 246
Joy to the world, the Lord is come! Let earth receive its king;
Let every heart prepare him room,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven, and heaven and nature sing.
Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!
Let all their songs employ
While fields and floods, rock, hills, and plains,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.
He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of his righteousness,
And wonders of his love,
And wonders of his love,
And wonders, wonders of his love.

Hermoso Nombre
(English Translation of Lyrics)
Tu fuiste el verbo en el principio
Unigenito de Dios
El misterio de tu gloria
Revelado en tu amo
Cuan hermoso su nombre es
Cuan hermoso su nombre es
El nombre de Jesus mi Rey
Cuan hermoso su nombre es
Nada se iguala a El
Cuan hermoso su nombre es
No hay otro nombre.
Dejaste el cielo por salvarme
Me viniste a rescatar
Mi transgression tu perdonaste
Nada nos separara.
Majestuoso su nombre es
Majestuoso su nombre es
El nombre de Jesus mi Rey
Majestuoso su nombre es
Nada se iguala a El
Majestuoso su nombre es
No hay otro nombre
Majestuoso su nombre es
No hay otro nombre
La muerte venciste
El velo partiste
La tumba vacia ahora esta
Los cielos declaran
Tu gloria proclaman
Resucitaste en majestad.
Inigualable
Incomparable
Hoy y por siempre reinaras
Tuyo es el reino
Tuya es la gloria
Tuyo el poder y autoridad. (repeat)
Ponderoso su nombre es
Ponderoso su nombre es
El nombre de Jesus mi Rey
Ponderoso su nombre es
Incomparable es El
Ponderoso su nombre es
No hay otro nombre
Inigualable
Incomparable
Hoy y por siempre reinaras
Tuyo es el reino
Tuya es la gloria
Tuyo el poder y autoridad.
Ponderoso su nombre es
No hay otro nombre
Ponderoso su nombre es
Ponderoso su nombre es
No hay otro nombre.
Ponderoso su nombre es
No hay otro nombre

I am no longer my own but yours. Put me to what you will; rank me with whom you will. Put me to doing; put me to suffering. Let me be employed for you or laid aside for you, exalted for you or brought low for you. Let me be full; let me be empty. Let me have all things; let me have nothing. I freely and wholeheartedly yield all things to your pleasure and disposal.
And now, glorious and blessed God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, you are mine and I am yours. So be it. And the covenant now made on earth, let it be ratified in heaven. Amen.

Christmas Carol

Do You Hear What I Hear?
Said the night wind to the little lamb,
Do you see what I see?
Way up in the sky, little lamb
Do you see what I see?
A star, a star
Dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite
With a tail as big as a kite
Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy
Do you hear what I hear?
Ringing through the sky, shepherd boy
Do you hear what I hear?
A song, a song
High above the trees
With a voice as big as the sea
With a voice as big as the sea
Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king,
Do you know what I know?
In your palace warm, mighty king
Do you know what I know?
A child, a child
Shivers in the cold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Said the king to the people everywhere
Listen to what I say
Pray for peace, people everywhere
Listen to what I say
The child, the child
Sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
He will bring us goodness and light

Angels We Have Heard On High
United Methodist Hymnal No. 238
Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o’er the plains,
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains.
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be
Which inspire your heavenly song?
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Come to Bethlehem and see
Christ whose birth the angels sing;
Come, adore on bended knee,
Christ the Lord, the newborn king.
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
See him in a manger laid,
Whom the choirs of angels praise;
Mary, Joseph, lend your aid,
While our hearts in love we raise.
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
