NOTE DATE IS POSTPONED Led by Rev. Jeremy Steele, Christ UMC, Mobile, Alabama steeleSchedule: February 18, 2015 @ Francis Asbury UMC Candler 10am-3:00pm, lunch included. Host: Veranita Alvord Who should participate?  Clergy, staff, and volunteers working with infants, children, youth, and adults.  Each congregation may bring whoever they want to bring.  You will not leave disappointed. Hosted and funded by the Reynolds Leadership Academy for Evangelism and Discipleship members.  The members are impressed by Jeremy’s grounding in Wesleyan theology and practical applications for vital ministry with children from birth through college.  Thus, the Reynolds Academy members are themselves paying the basic cost to bring Jeremy to North Carolina. Sample topics to be included:
  • Materials and strategies for parents of infants and preschoolers
  • A strategy for introducing children to the Bible
  • Wesleyan class meetings for youth
  •  Sex education for youth
  • Taboo: The Questions You Aren't Supposed to Ask for young adults
