Early Service Music Leader/Organist/Accompanist Both Services

Mount Pleasant UMC in Sherrills Ford, NC seeks a part time skilled organist and piano accompanist to play at the 8:30 Blended Service, the 11:00 Traditional Service and the Wednesday night choir rehearsals. There will be special services throughout the year such as Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Maundy Thursday services which may require accompaniment. Funerals and weddings are usually contracted with the families. This person will also be tasked with planning and leading the music for the Blended Service in consultation with the vocalists and other musicians.  The estimated hours for this position will be in the range of 6-10 hours per week with additional practice and planning time at home. The salary range is $19,000.00 - $22,000.00 per year based on preparation and experience. There is two weeks vacation associated with this position. 
This position will answer to the Senior Pastor.
