Blackburn Community Outreach (BCO) is a non-profit community development agency located in Todd, NC. Our mission is to engage and mobilize the Todd community for social, economic, and environmental vitality.
We are currently seeking applicants for the BCO Program Coordinator position. This is a 32 hour per week, full-time position with benefits. The duties include management of all BCO programming efforts, including Todd’s Table, a food/faith initiative providing locally-sourced goods and produce; the Todd Listening Project, a community endeavor to explore the assets, needs, and desires of Todd community members; and the Blackburn House, an intentional Christian community focused on rural service work. The program coordinator works closely with the Executive Director and other staff members to assist with community-wide communications, volunteer/intern recruitment, event planning, and data collection and reporting.
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in a field related to social work, community organizing, or community development. Qualifications include strong written and verbal communication skills, leadership skills, comfort with fiscal responsibilities, and strong collaborative skills.
The salary for this position is $25,000/year plus benefits.
