JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant
REPORTS TO: Senior Pastor, Staff-Parish Relations Committee
JOB CLASSIFICATION: Salaried (Exempt); Full-time
HOURS: Monday through Friday, 40 hours, after hours contact person
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Administrative Assistant will support the church administratively. Individual will be responsible for communication with church members and visitors through weekly emails, scheduling meetings and volunteer rotations, creating visitor follow up, and new member volunteer opportunities and supporting the clergy team. Individual will also be responsible for management of church/facility calendar and building usage and serve as the point of contact for building access and alarm contact after hours.
QUALIFICATIONS: Individual should have a demonstrated commitment to Christian discipleship and understand the administrative needs of a church. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study preferred. Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and Constant Contact. Ability to work with both clergy and laity to promote a pleasant environment where people love God, grow in their faith and serve others.
