Join your district colleagues in worship, fellowship,
and conversation with Bishop Paul Leeland and Mr. Charlie Lyons.

Bishop Leeland will be talking with us about what it means for pastoral leaders to cultivate a “Missional Mindset,” an outward, biblical focus on the work
and ministry to which Jesus calls us. A “Missional Mindset” is critical for congregational leadership, clergy and lay, to spread the Gospel
among people and communities today.

Charlie Lyons is a member at First UMC Asheboro. He is an advisor, speaker, and coach for a large variety of organizations and schools on the local, State, and National level. He is President of DRIVE Educational System and will explore with us what motivates us as human beings and how that connects to ministry, in other words, “Why People Do What They Do.” To find out more about Charlie and his work visit: http://masterstoryproject.com/charlie-lyons/.

Everything, including lunch is free. Charlie is not asking for compensation
for his time with us. HOWEVER, he is encouraging us to help him with funds
that are being raised to make it possible for 25 students at Thomasville High School in Davidson County to have their own leadership workshop with Charlie.
SO, we will receive a love offering so that
Charlie’s work and ministry can bless a school in our area.
RSVP khopkins@wnccumc.org. –so that we can prepare for lunch!
