Finch Preaching Mission

Join us October 1 through October 3 as Memorial United Methodist Church in Thomasville, NC is pleased to welcome Rev. Dr. Tom Tewell as our guest speaker for the 2017 Finch Preaching Mission series. Rev. Tewell is the executive director of Macedonian Ministry where he and his staff help pastors define a healthy church not only in numerical terms, but in deepening discipleship and equipping lay people for service in their local communities.  They provide peer-learning groups for clergy that are truly renewing pastors, transforming congregations, and impacting local communities. During our Finch Preaching Mission series, Rev. Tewell will address what makes a healthy Christian, church, pastor, community, and a healthy person in a series titled, "Vital Signs: Have you had Your Annual Spiritual Yet?"
