Thanks to a generous grant from the Duke Endowment, local pastors and their families are invited to experience a weekend retreat and stay overnight on Friday and/or Saturday night at a signficantly reduced rate. This is optional and available on a first-come basis.  The retreat committee encourages local pastors to use this as an opportunity for rest and renewal. The cost for Friday night is $50.00 and Saturday night is $60 and breakfast is included for the clergyperson. Bring your spouse and family.  Up to four people can stay in a room and the only additional cost is meals.

The event is mandatory for local pastors in the mentoring program and for all clergy under appointment from another denomination.

  Speaker: Rev. Greg Moore, Executive Director of New Faith Communities in the North Carolina Conference               Greg Moore is the founding pastor of All Saints’ UMC, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Before starting All Saints’, Greg served as the Associate Director for Congregational Development for the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church, as an Associate Pastor at Christ United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and as the pastor of several churches in rural England within the British Methodist Church.
