Understanding Islam

Monday, March 7, at 7 pm in The Commons at Matthews United Methodist. With current events focusing on the Middle East, Samer Abraham will share his journey and encourage relationship building with Muslim neighbors as part of our study of The Crescent through the Eyes of the Cross: Insights from an Arab Christian. Samer Abraham works with Avant Ministries which focuses on sharing Christ with Muslims. As a former Fundamentalist Sunni Muslim from Iraq, he came to know Christ and now speaks to groups and conferences.
