Appalachian District Lay Servant Training

Lay Servant Training is a two-day opportunity for youth and adults to learn about ways to serve in the United Methodist Church. You must attend both sessions in order to complete the class. Those who complete the course become better qualified to take on leadership roles within their own church. Following completion of the basic course, Lay Servants are eligible to take ad­vanced courses and become Certified Lay Servants and lead in congregations outside of their home church.

The spring training will include two sessions, April 9, 2016 Registration is from 9:00 AM-9:45 AM Class begins at 10:00 AM and will end at 5:00 PM April 16, 2016 Class begins at 9:00 AM and will end at 3:00 PM $35 Registration The sessions will be at First (Lenoir) United Methodist Church, 309 Church Street NW- Lenoir, NC 28659
