Conversations about Conference-wide Creation Care Ministry

Does anybody out there care about God’s creation? If so, JOIN US in a series of conversations about what that means to, and might look like in, the WNCC UMC! Clergy members and District and Conference staff are invited to register for these conversations to be held via Zoom at noon on September 14, 21, and 28. Bishop Ken Carter will provide opening remarks on September 14^th to begin the conversation about the problems God’s creation faces, why we as Christians and United Methodists should care about those problems, and what we can do to actively participate in the renewal of God’s “very good” creation.

These talks with clergy and administrative staff will be followed in October by the launch of a new program designed to engage local churches in actively caring for God’s creation, along with a Zoom-based conversation with laypersons who care about God’s creation and want to engage in grassroots efforts to show we care.
