Annual Conference 2022

Mark your calendars for our much-anticipated return to Lake Junaluska for the
2022 Western NC Annual Conference!

Clergy Session - June 16, 2022
Annual Conference - June 17-19, 2022

The 2022 Western North Carolina Annual Conference meeting will be held at Lake Junaluska, June 16-19. To encourage social distancing and for the safety of all, only lay and clergy members of the annual conference will be allowed in Stuart Auditorium during the business sessions. While the conference will be livestreamed for at-home viewing, registration and full participation (including voting) will ONLY happen in person. Masks are encouraged at all times and may be required during worship due to an increased number of participants.

WNC clergy who are in full connection, provisional members, associate members, and local pastors are required to attend the Western North Carolina Annual Conference meeting, June 16-19, 2022. Annual Conference will be live-streamed for at-home viewing, but registration and full participation (including voting) is only possible in person.

If you are not able to attend in person, please request an excused absence.
You can make that request at this link.

Clergy who are retired or are on leave of absence are automatically excused if they are not able to attend.

Thank you for your faithful ministry and leadership in the conference and the kingdom.

The Annual Conference meeting and worship services will be livestreamed on the annual conference webpage and can be viewed in various places around the Lake. That list of options will be made available in the program materials. Please note, however, registration and full participation (including voting) will ONLY happen in person. We trust your judgement to make the best decision for your health and for the well-being of one another.

We will closely monitor developments between now and the meeting in June and if anything changes, we will notify the annual conference lay and clergy members and put the information on the Conference webpage.
