Dr. Joseph W. Daniels, Jr. is the Lead Pastor of The Emory Fellowship in Washington, D.C. Pastor Daniels is an author and consultant, frequently writing and teaching on topics surrounding vision and call, leadership development, diversity training, and congregational, community and economic development.He believes that we are to live a whole life and is an advocate for peace and economic stability for families and communities globally.

 

 


2021 Martin Luther King Jr. Youth and Young Adult Contest!!! 

The Prompt For The Contest Is: 

We cannot wait to make this world a better place. 

What would your dream of a better world look like today? 

The response to this contest may be: An Original Essay, An Original Picture/Drawing, An Original Photograph, An Original Sculpture, An Original Painting, An Original Poem or An Original Poster. 

The contest is open to: Elementary, Middle School and High School Students. 

Three cash awards will be awarded in each category. 

Winners will be announced at the WNC Virtual Martin Luther King Jr Commemoration Service. This service will be held via Zoom on January 16, 2021. The winning submissions will also be highlighted at this Zoom event. 

The deadline for submissions is Dec. 31, 2020. Submit contest entries to Mrs. Tina McLendon @ tinajmclendon@aol.com

Please include: Student’s Full Name and Mailing Address, Student’s Age, Grade, School Name, Church Name and Pastor’s Name.
